MONTHLY ASSEMBLY MEETINGS
Every month, our members assemble to share their knowledge, teach, and learn. Our meetings are a safe place to expand your repertoire, try out new material, and gain insights from more experienced performers. And several times throughout the year, our meetings host lectures given by some of the top names in the magical field — and if you're a SAM3 member, admission is free!

HIGH-PROFILE ACTIVITIES
The Chicago Close-Up Magic Competition at Navy Pier in the summer and The Houdini Séance in the fall are two of the most visible annual magical events in Chicago. They bring magic to the public in newsworthy ways, and regularly garner the attention of Chicago newspapers, radio, and TV. As a member of SAM3, you can be part of them.

SUBSCRIPTION TO OUR EXCLUSIVE MAGAZINE, M-U-M
Named for the S.A.M. motto, “Magic-Unity-Might,” M-U-M is a slick, professionally produced magic magazine that teaches its readers new effects every month by some of magic's leading innovators. You'll also find articles about important magicians, magic history, the latest merchandise reviews, and news from the conjuring world. M-U-M is not available to nonmembers of the S.A.M., and is free with your membership in SAM3.

NATIONAL CONVENTIONS
If you've never been to a national magic convention, you're in for a treat. The S.A.M. holds an annual convention in a different city each year: four full days of performances by famous magicians from around the world, with lots of stage shows, close-up shows and magic lectures. You'll also see contests, meet magic dealers, and probably stay up all night enjoying informal sessions with your peers. No wonder over 1,000 magic enthusiasts flock to this world-class event each year. And with SAM3 membership, you can join them.
